Why make a sample

A drawing can't show how a fabric falls or where a seam pulls. Once they see the sample, designers sometimes add parts to the style or remove others. A sample lets you make those decisions before you commit to fabric, factory minimums or a launch date.

What we sew

First prototypes, fit samples and one-off garments for womenswear and menswear, from everyday basics and tailoring to eveningwear and couture-level pieces.

How a sample comes together

We work from your pattern, a pattern we draft for you, a tech pack, a reference garment or a sketch. Fabric, construction and finishing are agreed first, then we quote the time and cost for your piece.

Questions about sample making.

Can you sew a sample from a pattern someone else made?

Yes. We review the pattern first and tell you if anything needs correcting before we cut.

Are samples only for brands?

No. Individuals often order a single custom garment, while designers use samples for fit sessions, photoshoots and buyer meetings.

What happens after the sample?

If the style needs changes, we update the pattern. And if you need grading or markers after the sample, we do those too.

Want to see your design sewn?

Share a sketch, photos or the pattern you already have, along with your sizes and deadline. You get a clear quote and a plan before any work begins.
